All visitors except the Indian nationals must hold passport and valid visa. Visa can be obtained at the Nepalese diplomatic missions and consulates abroad. Visa is also issued at the entry points. According to a notification posted by the Nepal Tourism Board on 15th July, the new tourist visa rules will be effective from 16th July 2008. All tourists who visit Nepal must hold valid passport and visa.
